Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 22

अनादिमच्युतं दिव्यं प्रमाणातीत गोचरम् । अधश्चोर्ध्वं गतं नित्यं जीवाख्यं देहसंस्थितम्

anādimacyutaṃ divyaṃ pramāṇātīta gocaram | adhaścordhvaṃ gataṃ nityaṃ jīvākhyaṃ dehasaṃsthitam

Dia tanpa awal, tidak gugur, bersifat ilahi, melampaui jangkauan segala ukuran dan pembuktian. Sentiasa meresapi bawah dan atas, Dialah Yang Kekal yang, sebagai ‘jīva’, bersemayam di dalam tubuh.
