Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 165

तेषां वत्सो रुचिस्त्वासीद्दोग्धा पुत्रो मुनेः शुभः । शैलैस्तु श्रूयते देवि पुनर्दुग्धा वसुंधरा

teṣāṃ vatso rucistvāsīddogdhā putro muneḥ śubhaḥ | śailaistu śrūyate devi punardugdhā vasuṃdharā

Bagi mereka, Ruci menjadi anak lembu, dan putera sang muni yang mulia menjadi pemerahnya. Wahai Devī, didengar bahawa Vasundharā (Bumi) diperah lagi—kali ini demi kepentingan gunung-ganang.
