भित्त्वा वेगाद्धरापृष्ठं प्रविष्टाथ महीतलम् । यदायदाभवच्छ्रांता दह्यते वाडवाग्निना । तदातदा मर्त्यलोके याति प्रत्यक्षतां नदी
bhittvā vegāddharāpṛṣṭhaṃ praviṣṭātha mahītalam | yadāyadābhavacchrāṃtā dahyate vāḍavāgninā | tadātadā martyaloke yāti pratyakṣatāṃ nadī
Dengan derasnya, baginda memecah permukaan bumi lalu masuk ke dalam tanah. Setiap kali baginda menjadi letih dan terasa dibakar oleh api Vāḍava, pada saat itulah sungai itu menampakkan diri kembali di alam manusia.
