Transliteration

nityamārādhayāmāsa sāṃbo jāṃbavatīsutaḥ | taponiṣṭhaṃ ca taṃ dṛṣṭvā viṣṇuḥ kāruṇiko mahān

Translation

Sāmba, putera Jāmbavatī, menyembah Dewa Surya setiap hari. Melihat keteguhannya dalam tapa, Viṣṇu Yang Agung lagi Maha Pengasih pun menaruh perhatian.
