Skanda (deduced from ethical framing of tīrtha-fruit)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra (contextual)
Type: kshetra
Listener: null
Scene: A disciplined pilgrim walking barefoot with measured steps, hands restrained from harm, mind focused; a teacher reciting texts nearby; the pilgrim’s aura suggests tapas and earned kīrti.
The true ‘result’ of pilgrimage depends on inner restraint and dharmic character, not merely reaching a location.
The teaching applies to tīrthas generally, within the Prabhāsakṣetra glorification that frames pilgrimage to Someśvara.
A moral prescription: restrain actions (hands, feet) and mind; cultivate learning and austerity to receive tīrtha-phala.
