भगवानुवाच । ज्ञातोऽस्मि मुनिशार्दूल त्वया वेदविदां वर । वरं वरय भद्रं ते नित्यं यन्मनसेप्सितम्
bhagavānuvāca | jñāto'smi muniśārdūla tvayā vedavidāṃ vara | varaṃ varaya bhadraṃ te nityaṃ yanmanasepsitam
Tuhan berfirman: “Aku telah engkau kenali, wahai harimau di kalangan resi, wahai yang terbaik antara para mengetahui Veda. Pohonlah suatu anugerah—berkat bagimu—apa sahaja yang sentiasa diingini hatimu.”
