Kemudian baginda memulakan mandi yang diiringi mantera, dengan menggunakan ramuan herba yang kelat, pañcagavya (lima hasil lembu), pañcāmṛta bersama buah-buahan, serta air dari tīrtha yang suci, menjadikan upacara mandi itu suatu penyucian dan pentahbisan yang sempurna.
