ekatra mantrā stiṣṭhanti teja ekatra tiṣṭhati | brāhmaṇā devatā loke brāhmaṇā divi devatāḥ | trailokye brāhmaṇāḥ śreṣṭhā brāhmaṇā eva kāraṇam
Di satu tempat mantera-mantera bersemayam; di satu tempat juga tejas, sinar daya suci, bersemayam. Di dunia ini para Brāhmaṇa ialah para dewa; di syurga pun para Brāhmaṇa ialah para dewa. Dalam tiga alam, Brāhmaṇa paling utama—Brāhmaṇa sahajalah sebab penentu tertib kesucian.
