tataste munayaḥ prītāḥ śrutvā vākyaṃ pitāmahāt | pitāmahastu tāndṛṣṭvā ṛṣīnprovāca vismitān | kena kāryeṇa vā'yātāḥ kena bālo niveditaḥ
Mendengar kata-kata Pitāmaha, para muni pun bersukacita. Lalu Pitāmaha, melihat para resi yang terhairan, bertitah: “Atas urusan apakah kamu datang, dan mengapa budak ini dipersembahkan di hadapan-Ku?”
