अमरत्वं यतो नास्ति प्राणिनां भुवि शंकर । देवानामपि कल्पांते स कथं न मृतो मुनिः
amaratvaṃ yato nāsti prāṇināṃ bhuvi śaṃkara | devānāmapi kalpāṃte sa kathaṃ na mṛto muniḥ
“Kerana keabadian tidak wujud bagi makhluk di bumi, wahai Śaṅkara; bahkan para dewa pun binasa pada akhir suatu kalpa—maka bagaimana resi itu tidak mati?”
