विधूमे लेलिहाने च कुर्यात्कर्म प्रसिद्धये । अप्रबुद्धे सधूमे च जुहुयाद्यो हुताशने
vidhūme lelihāne ca kuryātkarma prasiddhaye | aprabuddhe sadhūme ca juhuyādyo hutāśane
Apabila api tidak berasap dan nyalanya menjilat ke atas, hendaklah dilakukan upacara agar tercapai kejayaan yang pasti. Tetapi sesiapa yang mempersembahkan havis ke dalam api yang malap dan berasap, itu bertentangan dengan tatacara yang benar.
