ṣaṇḍhaṃ tu brāhmaṇaṃ hatvā śūdrahatyāvrataṃ caret | bahūnāmekakāryāṇāṃ sarveṣāṃ śastradhāriṇām
Namun jika seseorang membunuh seorang brāhmaṇa yang sida-sida (tidak sempurna alat kelamin), hendaklah ia menjalani vrata penebusan yang ditetapkan bagi pembunuhan seorang Śūdra. Dan dalam hal ramai orang melakukan satu perbuatan bersama—apabila semuanya memegang senjata—(tanggungjawabnya dikongsi).
