Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 165

न च पत्रोर्णकुसुमैर्न चैवोन्मत्तसंभवैः । न चाम्रातकजैः पुष्पैरर्चनीयो दिवाकरः

na ca patrorṇakusumairna caivonmattasaṃbhavaiḥ | na cāmrātakajaiḥ puṣpairarcanīyo divākaraḥ

Dewa Matahari (Divākara) tidak wajar dipuja dengan bunga patrorṇa, tidak juga dengan bunga yang lahir daripada tumbuhan unmattā, dan tidak pula dengan bunga āmrātaka.
