Transliteration

pativratatvāccāśrāṃtā tāmuvāca yamastathā | nivarta gaccha sāvitri muhūrtaṃ tvamihāgatā

Translation

Kerana kesetiaan isteri yang suci (pativratā), dia tidak merasa letih; maka Yama berkata kepadanya: “Berpalinglah, wahai Sāvitrī. Engkau datang ke sini hanya seketika.”
