Transliteration

pūrve kalpe svayaṃ bhūtaṃ mahodayamiti śrutam | sa liṃgaṃ devadevasya pratiṣṭhāpyārcayannapi

Translation

Dalam kalpa terdahulu, ada liṅga yang terserlah dengan sendirinya, yang didengar bernama Mahodaya. Baginda menegakkan serta menahbiskan liṅga milik Deva segala deva itu, lalu menyembahnya dengan pemujaan.
