Transliteration

śrāvaṇe śuklapakṣasya tṛtīyāyāṃ narottamaḥ | yaḥ pitṝṃstarpayettatra tṛptiḥ kalpāyutaṃ bhavet

Translation

Pada hari ketiga paruh terang bulan dalam bulan Śrāvaṇa, wahai insan terbaik, sesiapa yang mempersembahkan tarpaṇa kepada para Pitṛ di sana, maka kepuasan mereka akan berkekalan hingga sepuluh ribu kalpa.
