वेदैरधीतैर्यत्पुण्यं पुराणैश्चावगाहितैः । तपोभिश्चरितैः पुण्यं सम्यगाश्रम पालनैः

vedairadhītairyatpuṇyaṃ purāṇaiścāvagāhitaiḥ | tapobhiścaritaiḥ puṇyaṃ samyagāśrama pālanaiḥ

(Pahalanya) menyamai pahala daripada mempelajari Veda, mendalami Purāṇa, melaksanakan tapa (austeriti), serta memelihara dengan benar dharma āśrama (tahap kehidupan) masing-masing.
