Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 31

ततो हृष्टमना भूत्वा गृहीत्वा तां चतुर्मुखः । पुनर्वर्षसहस्रांते भूमिपृष्ठमुपागतः । दर्शयामास तां विष्णोरेषा लिंगस्य मूर्धतः

tato hṛṣṭamanā bhūtvā gṛhītvā tāṃ caturmukhaḥ | punarvarṣasahasrāṃte bhūmipṛṣṭhamupāgataḥ | darśayāmāsa tāṃ viṣṇoreṣā liṃgasya mūrdhataḥ

Kemudian Brahmā yang bermuka empat, dengan hati gembira, mengambil bunga itu. Setelah genap seribu tahun, baginda kembali ke permukaan bumi. Baginda menunjukkannya kepada Viṣṇu sambil berkata, “Inilah dari puncak liṅga.”
