sarveṣāmeva dāśānāṃ tasya toyasya majjanāt | tāni vastrāṇi tatraiva tātastava sumadhyame | jale prakṣālayetkṣipraṃ prayāsyaṃti suśuklatām
“Dengan sekadar menyelam dalam air itu, bagi semua orang nelayan, segala sesuatu menjadi putih bersih. Wahai yang berpinggang ramping, pakaian ayahmu hendaklah dibasuh di situ juga dalam air; segera ia akan menjadi putih berseri.”

Purification is both practical and symbolic: tīrtha-water restores outer order and signals inner auspiciousness.
The nirjhara at Arbuda, whose water is said to make washed items attain bright whiteness.
Wash (prakṣālana) garments in the sacred water; immersion/usage of the tīrtha-water is presented as efficacious.
