देव्युवाच । यथा यूयं मया सृष्टास्तथैवायं महासुरः । विशेषो नास्ति मे कश्चिदुभयोः सुरसत्तमाः
devyuvāca | yathā yūyaṃ mayā sṛṣṭāstathaivāyaṃ mahāsuraḥ | viśeṣo nāsti me kaścidubhayoḥ surasattamāḥ
Dewi bersabda: “Sebagaimana kamu semua dicipta oleh-Ku, demikian juga asura besar ini dicipta oleh-Ku. Wahai yang terbaik di kalangan para dewa, tiada sedikit pun keberpihakan pada-Ku antara kamu berdua.”
