Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 45
ततस्तं भोजयामास श्रद्धापूतेन चेतसा । स्वयमेवाग्रतः स्थित्वा मृष्टान्नैर्विविधैः शुभैः
tatastaṃ bhojayāmāsa śraddhāpūtena cetasā | svayamevāgrataḥ sthitvā mṛṣṭānnairvividhaiḥ śubhaiḥ
Kemudian dia menjamu sang resi dengan hati yang disucikan oleh śraddhā (iman). Dengan berdiri sendiri di hadapannya, dia mempersembahkan pelbagai hidangan yang baik lagi bertuah, dimasak rapi dan indah.
