शांडिल्युवाच । मनसापि मया ध्यातं शुभं वा यदिवाऽशुभम् । नान्यथा जायते देव विशेषात्कोपयुक्तया
śāṃḍilyuvāca | manasāpi mayā dhyātaṃ śubhaṃ vā yadivā'śubham | nānyathā jāyate deva viśeṣātkopayuktayā
Śāṇḍilya berkata: “Wahai Dewa, bahkan apa yang hanya terlintas dalam minda—sama ada baik atau buruk—tidak menjadi selainnya, lebih-lebih lagi apabila disertai amarah.”
