Narrator (Purāṇic narrator within Nāgarakhaṇḍa)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A Brahmin, having accepted his wife’s resolve, constructs a funeral pyre; the couple stands at its edge, the moment suspended between grief and vow-bound determination.
Purāṇic tīrtha stories often escalate human resolve to reveal a higher divine correction or grace that redirects the devotee toward dharmic life.
The act occurs within the Nāgarakhaṇḍa’s mahākṣetra context; the place is portrayed as spiritually potent, drawing divine response.
Construction of a citi (pyre) is mentioned as a narrative act; it is not framed here as a recommended rite for pilgrims.
