। सूत उवाच । तथान्यापि च तत्रास्ति शक्तिः पापप्रणाशिनी । कार्तिकेयेन निर्मुक्ता हत्वा वै तारकं रणे
| sūta uvāca | tathānyāpi ca tatrāsti śaktiḥ pāpapraṇāśinī | kārtikeyena nirmuktā hatvā vai tārakaṃ raṇe
Sūta berkata: Lagi pula, di sana juga ada sebuah Tombak suci (śakti) yang memusnahkan dosa—dilepaskan oleh Kārttikeya setelah Baginda menewaskan Tāraka dalam peperangan.
