स दृष्ट्वा स्वाश्रमं ध्वस्तं पुलिन्दैर्बहुशो वृतम् । लकुटाश्मप्रहारैस्तु तां धेनुं जर्जरीकृताम्
sa dṛṣṭvā svāśramaṃ dhvastaṃ pulindairbahuśo vṛtam | lakuṭāśmaprahāraistu tāṃ dhenuṃ jarjarīkṛtām
Dia melihat pertapaannya sendiri telah musnah, dikepung dari segala arah oleh ramai kaum Pulinda; dan dia juga melihat lembu itu dipukul hingga remuk oleh hentakan belantan dan batu.
