Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 18

येनैव यद्यथा पूर्वं कृतं कर्म शुभाशुभम् । स एव तत्तथा भुंक्ते नित्यं विहितमात्मनः

yenaiva yadyathā pūrvaṃ kṛtaṃ karma śubhāśubham | sa eva tattathā bhuṃkte nityaṃ vihitamātmanaḥ

Dalam apa jua cara seseorang dahulu melakukan perbuatan baik atau jahat, dialah sendiri yang mengalami hasilnya dengan cara yang sama, sentiasa sebagaimana telah ditetapkan baginya.
