भीष्म उवाच । एष एव वरोऽस्माकं यत्संतुष्टा द्विजोत्तमाः । तथाप्याशु वचः कार्यं युष्मदीयं मयाधुना

bhīṣma uvāca | eṣa eva varo'smākaṃ yatsaṃtuṣṭā dvijottamāḥ | tathāpyāśu vacaḥ kāryaṃ yuṣmadīyaṃ mayādhunā

Bhīṣma berkata: “Inilah juga anugerah bagiku—bahawa para brāhmaṇa yang utama berpuas hati. Namun demikian, titah dan kata-kata tuan-tuan hendaklah aku laksanakan segera sekarang.”
