भास्कर उवाच । एवं मुने करिष्यामि तव वाक्यादसंशयम् । पूजयिष्यामि तल्लिंगं वर्षांते स्वयमेव हि
bhāskara uvāca | evaṃ mune kariṣyāmi tava vākyādasaṃśayam | pūjayiṣyāmi talliṃgaṃ varṣāṃte svayameva hi
Bhāskara (Surya) berkata: “Demikianlah, wahai resi; tanpa ragu aku akan melaksanakannya menurut kata-katamu. Sesungguhnya, pada akhir tahun aku sendiri akan memuja liṅga itu.”

Even cosmic deities uphold dharma by honoring the sage’s injunction and worshipping Śiva.
A Nāgarakhaṇḍa tīrtha where a particular liṅga was established; the surrounding verses identify the locality more precisely.
The Sun declares a regular observance: he will worship the specified liṅga at the completion of the year.
