इयं मे सुविशालाक्षी मनःप्राणसमा प्रिया । मृता भूमौ यया हीनो नाहं जीवितुमुत्सहे
iyaṃ me suviśālākṣī manaḥprāṇasamā priyā | mṛtā bhūmau yayā hīno nāhaṃ jīvitumutsahe
Dialah kekasihku yang bermata luas, semulia jiwa dan nafasku sendiri; kini dia terbaring mati di bumi, dan tanpa dirinya aku tiada berani lagi mengingini hidup.
