अथ पप्रच्छ लोकान्स किमेतन्नगरं स्मृतम् । कोऽयं देशः कोऽत्र राजा किं पुरं नगरं च किम्
atha papraccha lokānsa kimetannagaraṃ smṛtam | ko'yaṃ deśaḥ ko'tra rājā kiṃ puraṃ nagaraṃ ca kim
Lalu baginda bertanya kepada orang ramai: “Apakah nama kota ini? Apakah wilayah ini? Siapakah raja di sini? Dan apakah maksud ‘pura’ dan apakah pula ‘nagara’?”
