Transliteration

cauryabhāvena devasya pūjanaṃ jāgarastathā | upavāsaṃ vinā tena śivarātrau purā kṛtam

Translation

Dahulu, pada malam Śivarātri, dia melakukan pemujaan kepada Tuhan dan berjaga malam juga—namun dia melakukannya dengan niat seorang pencuri, dan tanpa berpuasa.
