Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 19

तदैष मुक्तिमाप्नोति देहस्तिष्ठति केवलम् । यावद्ब्रह्मफलावाप्त्यै प्रयाति पुरुषोत्तमः

tadaiṣa muktimāpnoti dehastiṣṭhati kevalam | yāvadbrahmaphalāvāptyai prayāti puruṣottamaḥ

Kemudian dia mencapai mokṣa; sedangkan jasad hanya tinggal semata-mata. Hingga demi memperoleh buah tertinggi Brahman, Puruṣottama—Yang Maha Utama—membimbingnya melangkah maju (menuju penyempurnaan akhir).
