Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 65

भवेत्सद्गुरुभक्तो वा सोऽप्यमूर्त्तफलं लभेत् । यो योगी नियताहारः परब्रह्म समाधिमान्

bhavetsadgurubhakto vā so'pyamūrttaphalaṃ labhet | yo yogī niyatāhāraḥ parabrahma samādhimān

Atau jika seseorang menjadi bhakta kepada sadguru yang sejati, dia juga memperoleh buah yang halus, tidak berwujud. Yogin itu—teratur dalam makan dan teguh dalam samādhi pada Parabrahman—amat diberkati.
