Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 60

मंजर्यां भगवान्विष्णुस्तदेकस्थत्रया सदा । मंजरी दलसंयुक्ता ग्राह्या बुधजनैः शुभा

maṃjaryāṃ bhagavānviṣṇustadekasthatrayā sadā | maṃjarī dalasaṃyuktā grāhyā budhajanaiḥ śubhā

Dalam gugusan bunga (mañjarī) ada Tuhan Viṣṇu; maka triad (Trimūrti) sentiasa berhimpun dalam satu Tulasī itu. Oleh sebab itu, mañjarī yang membawa berkat, bersama daunnya, hendaklah diambil oleh orang bijaksana untuk pemujaan.
