पुरा ब्रह्ममुखाच्छ्रुत्वा नानाव्रतविधानकम् । नारदः परिपप्रच्छ भूयो ब्रह्माणमादरात्
purā brahmamukhācchrutvā nānāvratavidhānakam | nāradaḥ paripapraccha bhūyo brahmāṇamādarāt
Pada zaman dahulu, setelah mendengar dari mulut Brahmā sendiri pelbagai ketetapan dan tata cara vrata, Nārada sekali lagi bertanya kepada Brahmā dengan penuh hormat.
