Atas sebab itu, para pemburu yang mengejar rusa mandi di sana; semuanya terbebas daripada dosa dan mencapai rupa tubuh yang paling luhur dan mulia.
Sūta (continuing)
Type: tirtha
Scene: A group of deer-hunters, bows lowered, stand at a luminous river/ford; they bathe, their grimy bodies turning radiant, as a subtle Viṣṇu/Deva aura blesses the waters; deer appear unharmed nearby, signaling cessation of violence.
Tīrtha-snānā is celebrated as a direct means of pāpa-kṣaya (sin-destruction) and upliftment, turning even violent livelihoods toward purification.
The Nāgarakhaṇḍa Adhyāya 23 tīrtha, proven by the transformations of deer, Triśaṅku, and the hunters themselves.
Snāna at the tīrtha is the explicit act; the promised fruit is pāpa-vinirmukti and attainment of an exalted state.
