ततःप्रभृति नैतस्या क्रियते श्राद्धमुत्तमम् । यः प्रमादेन कुरुते तस्य स्याद्वंश संक्षयः
tataḥprabhṛti naitasyā kriyate śrāddhamuttamam | yaḥ pramādena kurute tasya syādvaṃśa saṃkṣayaḥ
Sejak itu, pada tithi tersebut tidak lagi dilakukan Śrāddha yang utama. Sesiapa yang melakukannya kerana kelalaian, baginya akan berlaku kemusnahan keturunan.
