शक्र उवाच । मातुर्द्रोहकृतं पापं यातु मे त्रिपुरांतक । तथाऽन्येषां मनुष्याणां येऽत्र त्वां श्रद्धयान्विताः । पूजयिष्यंति सद्भक्त्या स्नानं कृत्वा समाहिताः

śakra uvāca | māturdrohakṛtaṃ pāpaṃ yātu me tripurāṃtaka | tathā'nyeṣāṃ manuṣyāṇāṃ ye'tra tvāṃ śraddhayānvitāḥ | pūjayiṣyaṃti sadbhaktyā snānaṃ kṛtvā samāhitāḥ

Śakra berkata: “Wahai Tripurāntaka, semoga dosa yang aku lakukan kerana mengkhianati ibuku lenyap daripadaku. Dan demikian juga, semoga dosa manusia lain—yang di sini, dengan penuh śraddhā, setelah mandi dan menenangkan batin, akan memuja-Mu dengan bhakti yang tulus—turut disucikan.”
