tato varṣasahasrāṃte tuṣṭastasya maheśvaraḥ | provāca varado'smīti śakra prārthaya vāṃchitam
Kemudian, pada penghujung seribu tahun, Maheśvara (Śiva) berkenan kepadanya lalu bersabda: “Akulah pemberi anugerah. Wahai Śakra, pohonlah apa yang engkau inginkan.”
