Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 12

अवध्यं संगरे पूर्वैः सर्वैदेवैः सवासवैः । स तथेति प्रतिज्ञाय जगामादर्शनं हरः

avadhyaṃ saṃgare pūrvaiḥ sarvaidevaiḥ savāsavaiḥ | sa tatheti pratijñāya jagāmādarśanaṃ haraḥ

(Dia memohon seorang putera) yang tidak dapat dibunuh di medan perang oleh semua dewa zaman dahulu, sekalipun bersama Vāsava (Indra). Hara pun berjanji, “Demikianlah,” lalu lenyap daripada pandangan.
