लक्ष्यते केनचित्पारो गाधेः पुत्रस्य धीमतः । क्षत्रियोऽपि द्विजत्वं यः संप्राप्तो द्विजसत्तमाः
lakṣyate kenacitpāro gādheḥ putrasya dhīmataḥ | kṣatriyo'pi dvijatvaṃ yaḥ saṃprāpto dvijasattamāḥ
“Ada yang mungkin berkata dapat mengetahui ‘batas’ putera Gādhi yang bijaksana; namun dia—walau lahir sebagai kṣatriya—telah mencapai kedudukan brāhmaṇa, wahai yang terbaik antara yang dua kali lahir.”
