Skanda (phala statement to the king)
Listener: rājendra
Scene: A devotee offers tāmbūla with devotion; behind, a symbolic sequence shows continuity across lifetimes—repeated offerings or a garland-like timeline—signifying akṣaya fruit.
Devotional giving done correctly yields enduring merit that follows the giver beyond a single lifetime.
The verse emphasizes the fruit of the observance; it does not specify a named tirtha in this line.
Give the offering according to the prescribed vidhi and with bhakti to secure lasting spiritual benefit.
