तस्याधस्तात्स्वयं देवो हाटकेश्वरसंज्ञितः । पुरस्य विद्यते तस्य प्रतापेनाखिला जनाः
tasyādhastātsvayaṃ devo hāṭakeśvarasaṃjñitaḥ | purasya vidyate tasya pratāpenākhilā janāḥ
Di bawahnya, Tuhan sendiri—yang dikenali sebagai Hāṭakeśvara—bersemayam; oleh keagungan kota itu, seluruh manusia dipengaruhi (dan berada dalam kuasanya).
