यदि तेषां मनस्तुष्टिर्जायते द्विजसत्तमाः । ततः सूक्तानि वाक्यानि सौम्यानि सुशुभानि च । वारुणानि तथैंद्राणि मांगल्यप्रभवाणि च
yadi teṣāṃ manastuṣṭirjāyate dvijasattamāḥ | tataḥ sūktāni vākyāni saumyāni suśubhāni ca | vāruṇāni tathaiṃdrāṇi māṃgalyaprabhavāṇi ca
Jika, wahai yang terbaik di antara kaum dwija, hati mereka menjadi reda dan berkenan, maka lahirlah rangkap suci dan kata-kata yang terucap indah—lembut, elok dan membawa berkat—serta ujaran yang bersifat Varuṇa dan Indra, yang terbit daripada kemuliaan murni itu sendiri.
