Viśvāmitra (teaching summarized in the narrative context)
Tirtha: Eka-tīrtha (generic; any one tīrtha properly approached)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Rāja (and general pilgrims)
Scene: A pilgrim bathes at one luminous tīrtha; within the water’s radiance appear faint reflections of many other sacred rivers and ghats, symbolizing ‘all tīrthas contained in one’.
A single authentic tīrtha observance can confer comprehensive merit, reflecting the Purana’s inclusive, grace-centered Dharma.
This verse does not name the tīrtha; it states a principle that one true tīrtha-bath can yield the fruit of all.
Snāna (ritual bathing) at a tīrtha is the prescribed act, presented as sufficient to gain total tīrtha-snānaphala.
