Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 45
त्यज तात मम स्नेहं मा विघ्नं मे समाचर । प्रायश्चित्तं करिष्यामि निश्चयोऽयं मया कृतः
tyaja tāta mama snehaṃ mā vighnaṃ me samācara | prāyaścittaṃ kariṣyāmi niścayo'yaṃ mayā kṛtaḥ
Anak itu berkata: “Wahai ayah, ketepikanlah kasihmu kepadaku; janganlah engkau menjadi penghalang bagiku. Aku akan melaksanakan prāyaścitta; tekad ini telah kutetapkan.”
