प्रजगाम द्विजश्रेष्ठाः शून्येन मनसा तदा । प्रतिभाति तदा गीतं तस्या मधुरमप्यहो
prajagāma dvijaśreṣṭhāḥ śūnyena manasā tadā | pratibhāti tadā gītaṃ tasyā madhuramapyaho
Wahai yang terbaik antara kaum dwija, ketika itu dia meneruskan perjalanan dengan hati yang kosong. Bahkan nyanyiannya yang manis pun tampak seakan berubah ganjil pada saat itu.
