दक्षेणाहं पुरा सृष्टश्चंद्रार्थं कुपितेन च । रोहिणीं सेवमानस्य संत्यक्तान्यासुतस्य च
dakṣeṇāhaṃ purā sṛṣṭaścaṃdrārthaṃ kupitena ca | rohiṇīṃ sevamānasya saṃtyaktānyāsutasya ca
“Dahulu aku dicipta oleh Dakṣa dalam kemurkaan, demi Bulan—kerana Bulan hanya melayani Rohiṇī dan mengabaikan puteri-puteri yang lain.”
