एवं मे गुरुतां प्राप्तो मधुपो द्विजसत्तमाः । इषुकारो यथा जातस्तथा चैव ब्रवीमि वः
evaṃ me gurutāṃ prāpto madhupo dvijasattamāḥ | iṣukāro yathā jātastathā caiva bravīmi vaḥ
Demikianlah aku memperoleh kewibawaan seorang guru—laksana lebah mengumpul madu, wahai para dwija yang utama. Dan sebagaimana tukang anak panah menjadi mahir, demikian juga aku menyatakan kepada kamu prinsip itu.
