लक्ष्मी रुवाच । काशिराजः पुरा ह्यासीज्जयसेन इति श्रुतः । तस्य भार्यासहस्रं तु ह्यासीद्रूपसमन्वितम्
lakṣmī ruvāca | kāśirājaḥ purā hyāsījjayasena iti śrutaḥ | tasya bhāryāsahasraṃ tu hyāsīdrūpasamanvitam
Lakṣmī bersabda: Dahulu kala ada seorang raja Kāśī yang masyhur dengan nama Jayasena. Baginda mempunyai seribu isteri, semuanya dikurniai keelokan rupa.
